My name is Jeff Kappel and I have lived in North Texas for over 30 years. In addition to being a REALTOR®, I have previously owned and operated a successful construction business between 1995 and 2023 (www.oakpointwoodworks.com). I have a unique understanding of this market because I have seen it grow from farmland into the residential neighborhoods we have today. In addition to owning a construction company, my wife Julia (a real estate broker) and I have owned rental properties in the past but tired of the issues with tenants so we sold all of our rental portfolio on owner finance sales to provide us with a long-term passive income. We also were very successful with fix and flips until the market made it difficult to add value while keeping the resale price affordable for our buyers.
